The Blues Foundation announced 'Waiting For The World To End' by Dave Widow of the Ventura County Blues Society as one of five finalists chosen from approximately eighty submissions from blues societies around the globe.
Holiday Toy Drive
We would like to thank all of you who supported the 2nd Annual Casa Pacifica Toy Drive Presented by the Ventura County Blues Society and Hi Hat Entertainment. Our donation was $2,480.90 in toys and $535.00 in cash for a total of $3,015.90.
Band Challenge
Preston Smith and The Crocodiles win the Ventura County Blues Society Band challenge and will be going to Memphis Tennessee to represent the Society at the 2013 International Blues Challenge.
